What do we give you with this index?

We will tell you what this index means in more detail, although if you have any doubt or question about it we will be happy to give you a personal answer for your specific case.

As we have indicated in the introductory post  we express each index using the concept “distance”. We indicate from which point of departure it is (ratios from 1 to 5) and we say based on the strategy that we want to implement, the level of the recommended ratio.

Therefore, we always express the results based on “distance maps” and recommendations for their achievement, which would be part of the global roadmap.

This index indicates how is the resilience within the organization.  We look back in order to see how the challenges have been lived to date, recent history and the business context, and we measure the resilience of the organization, that is, how the company has adapted during its trajectory.

In the recent past of every company, there have been key market moments, internal changes, managerial rotation, team rotation, expansion or restructuring, which have caused an impact. This, for sure.

Identifying the degree of awareness of the changes that exists and how their implications have been internalized, says how the next level of challenge will be faced.


All experiences tend to develop lessons, which can be of different types, and may suppose internal levers to overcome new challenges, or barriers.


Situations that occur in the companies can be familiar and can be of the following type:

  • Differences in support for the development of different lines of business, with criteria not necessarily linked to the contribution of billing, which a priori are not understood or are not explained
  • Different level of alignment according to the area / internal departments of the organization, in terms of support for business lines.
  • Understanding the challenges or obstacles that have been overcome and how.

There are many situations in which the capacity of response of the organization can be reduced as a result of how the recent history and the business context have been lived and understood.


The resilience, according to the official definition, it is the human capacity to assume with flexibility limit situations and be able to overcome them.

If we incorporate it into the organization, we think of a group of people, and the ability to recover from adversity. This allows for the development of resources and skills that perhaps were not known until then, and gives an idea of ​​how prepared we are to face future challenges.

Evidence and internalize it as an organization is, at the same time, a factor that enhances the results of the company, because a good level of resilience implies a very good capacity for alignment to the results.
